Jesse Helms just rolled over in his grave.For the first time in my life, I now find myself living in a blue state. Man, does that feel good.
On top of that, we defeated Elizabeth Dole (who held Helms' old Senate seat) and also elected our first female Governor.
Well done, fellow Tarheels. Now that we've turned this state blue, let's keep it that way.
